Včelí pastva a výživný potenciál medonosné rostliny
Půst, Petr
The diploma thesis is focused on the nutritional potential of bee friendly plants in the landscape for the honeybee. The aim was to verify a new method of evaluating the intensity nectar production of plants using the average daily weight changes of bee colonies placed in isolation cages on a plants of Phacelia tanacetifolia Benth. In the experiment, it was confirmed that the intensity of nectar production of bee friendly plants can be evaluated through the mass development of bee colonies placed in isolation cages with flowering vegetation with the same phenological phase. Statistically, it was not proved that plants of Phacelia tanacetifolia produce a higher amount of nectar during the first 7 days during its full bloom. The estimate of the honey yield in the experimental field growth of Phacelia tanacetifolia reached 210.5 kg/ha. The results can be used to investigate the effects on the production of nectar from plants in the future, thereby increasing the nutritional value of bee grazing in practice. Because a more nutritious bee pasture in the landscape is a fundamental determinant for the creation of a healthy, viable and productive bee colony.

Title of the Thesis The Palynological Analysis of the Pollen Collected by Honey Bee (Apis mellifera) in the Prague-West Area Abstract This diploma thesis underlines the importance and significance of bee pasture. The first part of the thesis contains the presentation of the honey bee (Apis mellifera). It also describes the structure of the pollen grain, pollen as such, and its use regarding bee nutrition, the factors determining bee harvest of pollen, the means of its collecting and the use of bee pollen and bee bread. Furthermore, there are characteristics of pollen pasture in the time of early spring, spring, summer, late summer and autumn. The second part is dedicated to the palynological analysis of the area of Prague-West, Úhonice. The diploma thesis contains the evaluation of the food offer for the bees from the aforementioned location, and the summary of pollen-yielding plants blooming between 1 April 2017 and 27 June 2017. The sampling of pollen balls, which had taken place within this time span, provided the initial information about the nutrition of bees as well as the data regarding the diversity of plant species in the chosen location. In total, the samples contained 98 kinds of plants, out of which 31 were dominantly present above the limit of 6 percent. The longest lasting source of pollen was...
Honey selected quality changes depending on the different ways of feeding of honeybee
HRADILOVÁ, Kristina
The goal of my thesis is to describe how external environmental factors influence beehives with regards to impacts on the quality of honey. The first part classifies various types of honeys and their qualitative characteristics in connection to their physical and chemical properties. The second part continues with description of bee pasture throughout the year and description of distinctive properties of certain monofloral honeys. Further, I am focusing on the issues of pesticide residue, medical substances and heavy metals in honey.
